Read the Following Story of Tresure Island by R.L. Stevenson classic story brief
Young Jim Hawkins lived with his mother at the Admiral Benbow Inn. He helped with everything, from cleaning to serving, always dreaming of grand adventures beyond their quiet bay.
One stormy evening, a rough old sailor with a scarred face came to stay. His name was Billy Bones, and he had a big sea chest full of secrets.
Billy Bones was scared of other sailors. Soon, he fell ill and passed away. Jim bravely searched his chest, finding an old map marked with a big red “X.”
Jim showed the map to his friends, Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney. They knew it was a treasure map! Together, they decided to find the treasure.
They hired a ship called the Hispaniola and a crew. The ship’s cook was a friendly, one-legged man named Long John Silver, who had a parrot on his shoulder.
During the journey, Jim hid and overheard Silver talking. Silver was actually a cunning pirate! He planned to steal the treasure for himself. Jim’s heart pounded.
Finally, they reached a mysterious island. It was wild and green, filled with strange noises and tall palm trees. This was Treasure Island!
While exploring, Jim met a wild-looking man named Ben Gunn. He was a sailor left behind by pirates years ago. Ben knew the island well.
Silver and his pirates also landed, searching for the treasure. Jim and his friends had to be very clever to stay ahead and keep the map safe.
There were many thrilling moments! Jim bravely helped his friends, even facing Silver and his pirates more than once. He learned that courage means doing what’s right, even when you’re scared.
Thanks to Jim’s courage and Ben Gunn’s secret, they found the treasure! It wasn’t where the map said, but hidden in a cave. Gold coins and jewels sparkled brightly!
With the treasure safely on board, they sailed away from Treasure Island, leaving the bad pirates behind.
Jim and his friends returned home, rich and full of incredible stories. They had faced danger and found a grand fortune.
Jim often thought of the sparkling gold, but he knew the real treasure was the adventure itself, and the bravery he found within his own heart.
